Dr. Pearline Teo, Ph.D.
Dr. Teo received her training in Biology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins University and Stanford University. Since then, she has had more than 10 years of basic, applied and clinical R&D experience in academia and industry, working with various types of products in the medical device and IVD space.
Professor Volkan Özenci, M.D., Ph.D.
Profession Özenci is currently the President of Nordic Society for Medical Mycology, Professor and senior consultant in Clinical Microbiology at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. His research focus is to improve clinical microbiological diagnostics. He has developed several methods including a fast technique for the analysis of bacteria in blood poisoning (sepsis) that cuts the time from 24 hours to 2-4 hours.
